Corrections Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Laterstack corrects its mistakes quickly and in plain view. Owning an error is part of being a publication readers can trust, and we would rather flag a fix than quietly bury it.

How to report an error

If you spot a factual error in our reporting, email us at lamar@laterstack.com or reach us through our Contact page. Tell us the article, the specific claim, and what you believe the correct information is. We review every report.

How we handle corrections

When we confirm an error, we fix it as soon as we can. For anything beyond a small typo, we add a correction note to the bottom of the article stating what was changed and the date it was changed. Significant corrections, the kind that change the meaning of a story, are noted clearly so readers who already saw the piece understand what was updated.

Updates versus corrections

When we add new information to a developing story without fixing an error, we mark it as an update with a timestamp. A correction means we got a fact wrong. An update means the story moved forward. We keep the two distinct so the record stays honest.
